Great quality! Im 5’9” 165 and i ordered a size M. They for true to size and have a decent amount of give and flexibility. They are super comfortable as well!

So comfortable and love the cut!! I wear a women’s medium in shorts/pants and got these in a small. They fit great! Can’t wait for it to warm up so I can wear them more!

Hands down my favorite hiking shorts! I loved them so much I even wore them for teaching PE. Hands down the best shorts I’ve ever owned. The logo and coordinated embroidered goes to show how much they care about the quality of the product put out at RW. Small zipper pocket next to the right pocket is perfect for my keys when I’m hiking, love em, need more.

Took the shorts on its inaugural hike for 9 miles. I don't usually wear 5" length shorts, but these are the exception. They feel great against the skin, have a comfortable stretch that moves with you, with fantastic details and branding, all wrapped in a PNW color. My favorite part is the small zippered pocket. It's perfect for the two items I always carry with me on hikes - earbuds and keys. I can see wearing these for chilling and lounging indoors during PNW winters. It's an awesome product from an awesome local company! They'll get tons of mileage.

Full disclosure: I’m David, the founder of Rainier Watch, and these are the shorts I’ve been living in lately. Whether I’m heading out for a 5+ mile run, putting in trail miles, or just hanging out on the couch, these Athletic 5 Inch Recycled Shorts seriously deliver.

When we set out to make these, I wanted a pair of shorts that could handle the rigors of adventure, without sacrificing comfort or style. I pulled inspiration from some of my favorite running and hiking gear, but gave it the RW treatment: recycled materials, no inner liner, a just-right 5 inch inseam, and pockets that actually do something.

It took months of testing, tweaking, and running around the warehouse (literally) to get these dialed in. I’ve run in them, hiked in them, lifted in them, lounged in them, and every time, they’ve held up and felt great. Lightweight and breathable, but with a solid fit that stays put thanks to the elastic waistband and drawstring.

Little details like the embroidered “Adventure Begins” on the side and that rear zipper pocket (perfect for keys or a card) make them feel dialed in for real use.
